We dream of creating a safe and supportive space and environment where people of all ages and backgrounds can come together under one roof for cultural, educational, health, social, and wellness programs.

High Sierra Prime Timers-Reno
High Sierra Prime Timers-Reno was founded in early 2000. We are a chapter of Prime Timers Worldwide; a social group that provides opportunities for mature Gay/Bisexual men to meet and socialize. We hold dinner/business meetings at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month and various social activities throughout the year. We also publish a monthly newsletter, the High Sierra Sidelines, and a confidential roster of members and their interests.
LGBT-Reno-Tahoe-Meetup-Group LGBT individuals who are interested in meeting new friends, enjoying new fun experiences in the Reno/Tahoe area.
LGBTFamilies – Meetup Group This group is for LGBT parents, aunties, uncles, cousins, grandparents who want to spend time with their littles and other LGBT families. We want to create the opportunity for LGBT families to get together, network, and have playdates. I want my children to meet families that are similar to theirs, and of course, have fun!!!
Nevada Gay Men’s Chorus We are a professional, not-for-profit, non-partisan, and multi-generational group with members from all walks of life in and around the Truckee Meadows.

Build Our Center – HOMIEs (Hands on Movement Including Everyone) – We will provide a safe space for LGBTQ youth and their friends. We will encourage participation by focusing on different aspects of community outreach. We actively assist youth in determining short term and long term goals while promoting unity within our community.
Middle and High Schools GSAs (Gay Straight Alliances) – We can find one nearby or help you start one!
QSU (Queer Student Union)
QSU is one of the largest and the longest standing active LGBTQIA organization in Northern Nevada. Our organization is composed of students and non-student youth, both gay and straight, from across the Northern Nevada Community.
UNR Center for Cultural Diversity
The Center provides a multitude of opportunities for student involvement, support, networking and social interaction. Open door policy- stop by to say “hi” on the third floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.
TMCC The Compass: Gay Straight….whatever
Our mission is to create safe place for GLBTQ students and their straight supporters to meet, to educate students and faculty, and to increase awareness and acceptance of all forms of diversity, but especially GLBTQ students.
TAG – Transgender Allies Group
TAG is a network of allies providing education, resources, counseling, advocacy and support of transgender individuals and families in order to ensure equality, integration, and an exceptional quality of life for all transgender people in Northern Nevada.
TRANS in Northern Nevada
This group is for Transgender people in Northern Nevada as well as their friends, family, and supporters. Through here we can all stay connected and up to date on upcoming events, meetings, medical information, and anything else that may pertain to the Trans community.
Northern Nevada Pride Festival & CommUNITY Parade – (July 26th-Wingfield Park)
Northern Nevada Pride hosts an annual event that showcases the art, creativity, and diversity of our unique city and region. The proceeds from the event will go directly to the programs and nonprofit purposes of Build Our Center.
